Fabulous little single screen cinema showing a range of big hits and small interestings! Definitely give it a go if you want to support local, get a taste of the “olden days”, and enjoy comfy seats and non-extortionate snacks!

A truly unique cinema experience. Being able to watch the latest blockbusters with a mug of tea and an ice cream is a gamechanger! The interval is a revelation too - I came to watch Oppenheimer and I probably would have struggled sitting through 3 hours without a break. I conveniently prebooked my ticket online (a bargain at £6.50) and was checked off a guestlist on arrival at the ticket office. The screen is sufficiently large and the volume is right for the small-ish room, with 300-odd comfortable seats (some with cupholders). It's fairly old fashioned and not flashy, making it a great alternative to the sterile experience offered by chain cinemas. I'll definitely be back, hopefully to hear the organ in action!

Best cinema in the world! So lucky to have it in walking distance. I love that they have an intermission, where they sell ice creams, cups of tea, coffee and popcorn. The prices are nothing compared to the big cinemas. Great atmosphere and lovely people running it! What’s not to like!?

A great authentic old cinema with old and modern films. The best thing they do is have an interval where hot drinks are available in mugs along with all the usual food available and it's all at reasonable prices. There's even an organ with a resident organist, if you're lucky enough to go on a night when he's playing☺️. The modern film and sound system are actually awesome.

A cinema from the sixties. Go on Saturday evening and get the organist playing before the film. Ice cream interval is always good. The ice cream is very nice.
I love it here, please leave it exactly as it is, such cfy seats, so beautiful, and such great prices, this pla e is a gem in Yorkshire , been going her for years. Don't ever change.
